    …but also not as powerful. a kick with the center of power at the hip is always stronger than one from the knee. not saying i don’t agree with your statement, but the way she kicks isn’t wrong, it’s just a different technique.

    yeah, it’s a twofold technique, really. generally you shouldn’t drop your guard like that as it creates more openings for the opponent, but if you have a striking opportunity, dropping your arm allows you to follow through with more momentum, and thus more power. again, sort of a risk if you fight someone who knows what they’re doing haha
