Hardcore Ghetto Street Fights As Entertainment?

We come across ghetto street fights not only in our neighborhood, but in fact it’s available in underground DVD’s and freely in the internet and it’s quite in demand too. And yes, you must have heard of G-Unit, Black Rob, Funkmaster Flex and Lil Jon who really loves ghetto street brawls and uses them in remixed music videos. These videos fetch for about t $15 in stores, some amounting to $19.99 and it one great business. The fans are many, thus producers of ghetto street fights can make $300,000-$500,000 off that DVD! Swell! People can sit comfortably in their couches at home and have a great time watching real ghetto street fights, all with the bloody scenes and foul languages.

For some watching the brutal ghetto street fights that erupts every now and then, one really want to do something to stop these sort of ugly fights which are sometimes fatal while for other its some entertainment watching both guys and girls beating the crap out of each other, smashing public windows and properties and such and have a great time!

Besides youngsters are really crazy about ghetto fights on the streets which are often very mean and raw and bystanders instead of stopping the fights tend to cheer them on. These days technology has made it quite easy for teenagers to film footage of these brawls and that too the objective being money making from violence. Parents need not find all these so surprising. Kids can just use their cellphones, catch the grueling fights and pass it on to others and the street fighter’s becomes a rage. These are real, raw footages and so they love it even more!

The reality aspects of the street fights also seem to attract the fans. Ghettos are one mean places where gang related street fights are very common, guns and all sorts of weapons are aplenty and a heated fight between two person often turns into major fights out in the open streets, more so at nighttime as not many folks venture out in the dark in such areas. It’s not unusual to also hear late in the night people smashing anything that’s nearby, kicking dustbins, just looking for a fight. When real fights start, they fight bare fisted, with bar handles, broken chairs, anything on hand, they are more or less hooligans destroying the sleep of simple folks. And yes, people just love to see these fights; some are staged, some real, mean ones. Even if you shut your eyes while watching the street fights, can still hear the grunts of pain and knuckles hitting the jaws, giving you the goose bums but then many are after these ghetto street fights as they just love these nasty fights.

Street Fight Training

Keep changing the training partners over. This will stop students from becoming too familiar with each other and thus developing a complacent attitude.

During a training session, have a Team Leader detailed to control the class. The Team Leaders role is to formulate a specific training and stick to that program. The team Leader must be capable of stopping dangerous practices and also motivating the students to maintain a high work rate.

During practice sessions, it is possible to develop an obstructive mind set. This is where you start to anticipate the training partner’s movements and you apply counter moves. This will slow down your partner’s development. Allow your partner to practice a move until they are proficient at that technique. Remember that all techniques are usually set up with distracting punches or kicks. Your ability to anticipate your training partner’s moves will be properly tested during match fighting.

Spend at least two minutes on each technique. Work fast to develop power, speed, recovery, accuracy and tactical movement. Get away from the mind set of doing 200 kicks or 200 punches.. Practice each technique for at least two minutes, even if you only manage 50 repetitions. You must try to incorporate the technique into a fighting framework. The aim is to make the technique part of a defense and attack strategy rather than a sterile exercise in technique.

The punch bag is a passive training aid. Spend too much time on it and you will neglect your defense and ability to react positively to an attacker.

Keep your kick training as realistic as possible. Move back and forward, left and right, counter and use combinations. Close combat is both dynamic and demanding, you must keep moving an remain difficult to predict. Kicks are powerful techniques; they will have an effect, not only on the opponent, but also on the applier. Anticipate these effects through a rigorous training procedure that involves an active training partner.

Self Defense And Street Fight Psychology

Let’s speak about the psychological aspect of a street collision. You should differentiate two items. You must realize, whether your fight is a result of a usual domestic conflict, or you are attacked by a robber, killer or bandit. Your actions will flow depending on these circumstances.

If it is an everyday domestic conflict that happens in the street (someone pushed you or your leg, disturbed the queue order etc.), you should not use your fighting knowledge and skills to put your opponent out of action.

As a rule, all these conflicts occur because of trifles, and you need to behave normally in this case, let’s say naturally. When this conflict happens, no one wants to fight actually, but just gets rid of the negative energy that was accumulated.

Those who express harshly their negative reaction are not dangerous at all in most cases. He will threaten you, make expressive gestures, grab you with iron fingers but nothing more will happen. This is nothing but the pose which does not contain real threat at all. However, there are exceptions in this case too. You must define at once who is dangerous and who is not.

I would like to precise one thing. Though laws and principles of a hand-to-hand fighting are the same, a sports battle in a gym differs greatly from that one happened in the street. If you are calm when fight in a sports gym and don’t worry about fatal injury, you will be extremely nervous when come across your real enemy in the street. You won’t fight according to rule (as you do in the sports gym), you need to act most quickly and cruelly sometimes for your effective self defense.

The psychological aspect plays a very important role in the street scuffle. You must prevent your enemy’s attack or take the lead over him. Therefore, I advise you on no account not to start fighting if you see you can avoid it.

If you cannot do that and you know you will be attacked inevitably, you should act quickly, harshly and be the first with attack actions. Lots of things depend on who starts the battle first. This is the main distinction of a street fight. When you train in the sports gym, it is not important at all who will attack first. Both fighters are ready to attack and defense.

It is not the same thing in the street fight. Opponents rarely stand at the certain stances (as in the sport gym) and are situated in close distance quite often. In other words, they are in the hitting zone of each other. Hence, a person who starts his attack first has a huge advantage. Attack here means just the most harsh and strong action and not the expressive gestures at usual domestic conflict.

I always feel awkward when I am forced to come into such conflict. When I see a person standing in front of myself and offending me, I feel ashamed for this conflict that occurred. This person cannot be dangerous for me, he is completely defenseless.

I know that I can put him out of action in a moment, but my consciousness does not let me do that. As we see, such clashes that happen in shops, public transport, streets etc are not the fight itself, but just an everyday conflict.

Real fight happens when your enemy or enemies are certain in their superiority over you. For example, it may be numerical advantage, force advantage or armament advantage.

So, I strongly recommend to you: try to avoid street fight at any cost. If you see you are about to be attacked, you need to act most quickly and harshly. You must always remember that if your enemy is eager to fight with you, he is sure in his superiority. If he is alone and is not too strong or high, but still wants to fight, it means most likely that he is either armed with the weapon or instructed of some martial art.

How To Win A Street Fight

Most people don’t look for confrontation. When walking down the street, usually a fight is the farthest thing from their intentions. Despite this, there are often times when you’re presented with that very situation. Now, how do you win a street fight?

The first thing to know is that they’re not going to fight fair. They’re going to use every advantage they can. After all, they don’t want to get hurt themselves, and so they’re going to pick a target that is the least threatening.

With this basic assumption in mind, your opponent is going to be predictable. They’re either going to be armed, larger than you, outnumber you, or are going to have the element of surprise. Chances are, they will use a combination of these tactics.

What you need is a collection of counter-tactics. Most weapons work best if there’s a little distance between you and the other guy. If you can close the gap between you, the attacker’s weapons are far less effective. This leads you into the next problem: Size.

Everyone has soft spots, and many of them are universal. You just have to know where those spots are, and get at them faster than they can react. The great thing about this is that usually, the larger they are, the slower they are. Also, there are certain other ways to use your opponent’s size and momentum against them.

If you’re outnumbered, and there’s no way out, the tricks against one opponent can make an opening for your escape. It can, at least, move you into a position where you’re not surrounded. Also, the faster you can take one down, the more you can take down when the chips are seriously down.

The element of surprise is possibly the easiest to deal with. If you are grappled first, you are already in close enough to take advantage of weak spots. No matter how big the person is, you can bring your attacker to his knees by twisting his finger. No man can stand for very long after being kicked in the groin.

These are only the ideas behind winning a street fight. Before trying any of them, you should learn a system of using them.

What is the Best Street Fighting Style?

The better question to ask is actually, “What qualities would make the best street fighting style?” By examining the rules of street fighting, we can find a way to deduce what kind of fighting style would best suit a street fight situation.

You may be asking, “There are rules to street fighting?” The answer is both “yes” and “no.” There are no rules in terms of fighting fair, certainly not on the part of your attacker. This, however, leads to a set of predictable behaviors that can be thought of as rules.

First of all, you probably won’t be attacked by anyone unless that person thought he or she had an advantage. Many fights can be prevented if you can adequately portray yourself as not being a potential victim. However, there are certain situations where the attacker’s certainty of this advantage isn’t so easily shaken.

They may have a weapon.

This threat can be answered in a couple of ways. You can have your own weapon, or you can be your own weapon. The great thing about being your own weapon is that it can’t be taken from you. A close quarters style can render most weapons ineffective. Guns, baseball bats and pipes require at least a little distance from the attacker to work. Even knives aren’t as easily used if you’re right on top of someone.

They may have a size advantage.

Size often implies strength, and, let’s face it, there are a lot of people larger than you. It doesn’t matter how large a person is, everyone has the same weaknesses. Pressure points, the eyes, and many other targets can even the playing field. In fact, if a person is larger, that often means that he or she is slower. Speed is another answer to this problem.

They may have a numbers advantage.

You should never go anywhere alone if you can help it. However, it doesn’t always work out this way. If you can get away, do so. If you can’t, you have to know ways to take a person down (and make sure they stay that way!) as quickly as possible. Once you have made an opening, run like hell.

They may have the element of surprise.

Few positions are as disadvantageous as being on the ground. Grappling skills are a must in this environment. If you can get to their soft spots, all the better.

In short, the ideal street fighting style would be dirty, up close, and exploits universal weaknesses.
